Senior Graphic DesignerSeekers Guidance is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to take ownership of the visual quality, consistency, and depth of our global educational and outreach work. This is a senior, craft-driven role for a designer with strong formal training, refined visual judgment, and the ability to think in systems. You will shape how sacred knowledge is visually presented across platforms, ensuring our work reflects clarity, credibility, and excellence.
We are not looking for surface-level designers or template operators. This role requires deep design thinking, strong fundamentals, and professional maturity.
1. Visual Leadership & Brand Stewardship
- Own and uphold the visual identity of Seekers Guidance across all digital and print outputs
- Ensure consistency in typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and visual language
- Develop and maintain design systems, templates, and guidelines that scale across teams
- Design high-impact visual assets for:
- Social media and digital campaigns
- Educational programs and courses
- Fundraising and outreach initiatives
- Reports, publications, and presentations
- Translate abstract concepts and educational content into clear, refined visual narratives
- Maintain a consistently high standard of finish and attention to detail
- Design and layout:
- eBooks and learning materials
- Annual and impact reports
- Long-form educational publications
- Apply strong typographic discipline and information hierarchy to complex content
- Collaborate with educators and content leads to enhance clarity and comprehension
- Produce visual mockups and design input for:
- Website improvements
- LMS and learning platform enhancements
- Digital tools and user flows
- Work closely with Tech and Academy teams to improve usability and visual coherence
- Collaborate with Content, Media, Outreach, and Academy teams to translate ideas into effective visuals
- Guide and review work by junior designers or contributors when required
- Ensure cultural and linguistic sensitivity in collaboration with Arabic-language teams
- Strong command of graphic design fundamentals:
- Typography
- Layout and grid systems
- Visual hierarchy
- Color theory
- Branding and identity systems
- Expert proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Presentation design (Canva, Keynote, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work across both conceptual design and detailed execution
- Strong visual judgment and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience in a structured, quality-driven environment
- A strong, well-curated portfolio demonstrating depth, consistency, and design thinking
- Formal design education (degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field) is strongly preferred
- Registered / certified graphic designer qualification is a significant advantage
- Experience in educational, publishing, or mission-driven organizations is highly valued
