Construction Estimator

Responsibilities:

Building trusting relationships with all customers. Deepening existing relationships and creating new ones
Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Staying up to date on construction codes and regulations
Identifying and mitigating potential project risks
Building preliminary budgets
Building final projects estimates
Creating and maintaining historic cost database
Coordinating subcontractor proposals for proper coverage
Review subcontractor proposals to ensure completeness
Creating opportunity proposals in the system with amounts and forecast
Delivering accurate and timely proposals
Creating initial schedule durations for the stakeholders
Communicating effectively with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
Managing your pipeline by communicating with clients and forecasting accurately

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Minimum 5 years' experience in construction projects (preferably multi-family and commercial construction).
A four-year Bachelor's degree in construction management is preferred but not required.
Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety standards is essential.
Computer

Skills:

MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam preferred.
