YOUR MISSION _________
The Commercial Strategy Development Manager will report directly to the General Manager and work closely with the Area Manager to drive business growth, operational excellence, and brand equity across key accounts. This role requires a proactive and analytical individual who excels at commercial analysis, developing compelling presentation decks and running business simulations. The Commercial Strategy Development Manager will interact with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including regional marketing and finance teams, and participate in retailer meetings as a support to commercial discussions.
This role supports as well the operational & process management of key accounts, requiring analytical skills, excellent organization, and a meticulous approach.
Job responsabilitiesKey Responsibilities
Business & Financial Analysis
- Conduct detailed sell-in and sell-out analysis by franchise, including the study and monitoring of product quotas.
- Prepare and present regular business performance reports and actionable insights to management and teams.
- Manage investment tracking, expense analysis, and monitor key P&L items (sales force, activations, permanent locations).
- Support in budget planning, forecasting, and financial simulations to optimize resource allocation.
- Develop and deliver high-impact presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key findings, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Participate in transversal projects and opportunity studies, contributing analytical and strategic input.
- Provide monthly market and sell-out reports analysis, synthesize retailer insights, sell-out reports to support Area Managers in devising their year-to-go (YTG) action plans and market strategies.
- Work with General Manager to identify and evaluate new opportunities for profitable growth in key accounts and emerging markets, utilizing business simulations to assess potential impact.
- If proven adept, the individual could also participate mid-scale commercial negotiations.
Operational Support & Communication
- Centralize and disseminate critical information to sales teams across countries and to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and consistency.
- Support the preparation of sales cycles team meetings, and retail animations, including defining assortments and sell-out objectives.
WHO YOU ARE _________
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in creating impactful presentation decks (PowerPoint or equivalent) and Microsoft Office suites. Power BI proficiency will be a plus.
- Highly numerical with experience in conducting business simulations and scenario planning.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Business or finance degree preferred; experience in retail, FMCG, or luxury sectors is a plus.
