Sales-driven CEO for Build Hub Benelux
We are looking for a sales-driven CEO to lead the Benelux operations of Build Hub, a platform dedicated to connecting sustainable building material providers with architects, designers, and construction professionals. Build Hub serves as a crucial marketplace for the promotion and distribution of eco-friendly construction materials.
The successful candidate will establish and grow the Build Hub presence in the Benelux region, creating a thriving ecosystem of suppliers and customers in the sustainable construction sector.
As the CEO, you will co-launch this venture alongside One Planet Studio and its partners.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESThe CEO will have operational responsibilities in Business Development, HR, Finance, Legal, and Operations:
Sales & Business Development- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Build Hub in the Benelux region, identifying key supplier and customer segments.
- Create and implement a pricing and membership strategy for platform participants.
- Lead sales initiatives to attract architect/construction users.
- Build a strong network of users, assessing their technical needs and financial potential.
- Identify market opportunities and develop short and mid-term business plans for the Benelux markets.
- Co-create marketing and communication strategies to effectively position Build Hub in the Benelux region.
- Represent the company at industry events and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide monthly reports on business development progress.
- Develop sustainability frameworks and standards for platform participants.
- Recruit and lead a local team (operations, marketing, and technical staff).
- Set KPIs and monitor team performance in supplier acquisition, user growth, and platform engagement.
- Create a culture that reflects Build Hub’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
- Manage the fundraising (200K€) with Business Angels, the OPS investors network, family & friends (pitchdeck drafting, pitch presentations, etc.)
- Develop the 5-year financial projection in collaboration with the OPS team and the HQ financial guidelines.
- Work with the HQ finance team and local financial advisors, banks, and insurers.
- Establish a sustainable revenue model for the Benelux operations.
- Oversee supplier contracts and platform terms of service.
- Lead platform operations until specialized team members are hired.
- Ensure quality control for supplier listings and materials information.
- Maintain excellent relationships with all platform stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the French headquarters on platform development and improvements.

- At least 4 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or marketplace environments.
- Experience and/or a network in the Belgian construction, architecture, or sustainable materials industry.
- Track record of successful business development or startup growth.
- Leadership – ability to inspire and lead teams in a startup environment.
- Sales & Communication – strong vision and ability to deliver a compelling message to diverse audiences.
