Student Assistant for Kinesiology

Position SummaryThe Student Assistant for Kinesiology assists the Director and faculty with administrative needs. This position reports to the Associate Professor.
Essential Functions- Assist faculty/staff with administrative tasks, social media & program support.
- Run errands on the Broadway campus as needed.
- Assist, greet and answer questions from students and visitors.
- Assist with programs, events, and projects within the Health Professions department (ex: end of semester graduation ceremony).
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to a business professional dress code.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to communicate, written and verbally.
- Ability to mult-task.
- Ability to work in a flexible work environment with numerous programs and activities occurring simultaneously.
- Ability to exercise confidentiality when communicating with employees and students.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Preferred Qualifications- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
