About the Role

The Finance & Operations Coordinator plays a central role in the daily success and long-term strength of the organization. This position coordinates financial, operational, and administrative functions across multiple affiliated organizations, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and continuity.

The role supports budgeting and financial tracking for multiple entities, provides human resources support including onboarding and benefits administration, and assists with core organizational operations. The Finance & Operations Coordinator works closely with the Executive Director and leadership team, providing reliable information, systems support, and operational insight that help guide organizational decisions.

This is a highly trusted role requiring strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Over time, this position is expected to grow in responsibility and leadership scope.

Experience & Background
  • Experience in finance, accounting support, office management, operations, or administration
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and organizations simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organized, dependable, and process-oriented
  • Comfortable working with financial systems, budgets, and documentation
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and discreet demeanor
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes

A degree in accounting, business, finance, human resources, or a related field is helpful but not required. Relevant experience will be considered in place of formal education.

Responsibilities

Finance & Budget Support
  • Coordinate day-to-day financial operations across multiple organizations
  • Support budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting for multiple entities
  • Prepare financial information and reports that support leadership decision-making
  • Coordinate with external accountants, payroll providers, and financial partners
  • Maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and compliance materials
Operations & Organizational Support
  • Support internal systems, workflows, and operational processes
  • Assist with planning and coordination of organizational activities and events as needed
  • Support preparation of organizational reports and materials
  • Maintain contracts, records, and documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, systems, and internal processes
  • Provide analysis, reporting, and insights that help leadership make informed decisions
Human Resources Support
  • Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including forms and required documentation
  • Support benefits administration and employee records management
  • Assist with HR-related processes and compliance requirements
