Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology RN – Southern California

Start Date: April 7, 2026
Location: Orange County, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum every other weekend required; on-call requirement of 12 calls per 6-week period (includes one weekend)

Highlights:

• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 488-bed acute care facility
• Epic charting system; experience required
• Stroke experience required; must live within 30 minutes of facility for stroke call
• Daily census of 17 patients; work with adults and geriatric populations
• Full interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Free parking provided

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
• Active California RN license in hand (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Current certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Previous travel experience required; no first-time travelers accepted
• Stroke experience required
• Skills in scrub procedures, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, circulate procedures, and ventilator management
• Ability to float to similar units and affiliate facilities as needed
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius or accept local rate
