Supervisor Nursing - CICU - Full Time Night

Position summary:

Full‑time night shift supervisor for the 27‑bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA. Responsible for ensuring high‑quality patient care, effective unit operations, and compliance with ANA Nursing Administration scope and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide an optimal environment and oversee/unit activities and personnel.
• Plan, organize, control, and coordinate department activities for efficient, cost‑effective service.
• Ensure high quality patient care and adherence to professional standards.
• Collaborate with the nurse manager, director, or executive director in unit governance.
• Maintain knowledge of specialized therapies (IABP, Swan‑Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, etc.) and support staff in their use.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
• One professional certification in a related area upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in cardiac/critical care.
• Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Leadership experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay range: $67.93 – $107.26 per hour (base pay only).
• Shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, and premium incentives available.

Schedule: Full time, Night shift.
