Registered Nurse - Nurse Navigator Oncology

• Assist patients who are currently receiving ongoing oncology treatment.
• Manage all aspects of patient care with an administrative-based workload.
• Work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Administration of chemotherapy, including continuous infusion and oral administration.
• Monitor chemotherapy and manage oncologic emergencies such as Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS), anaphylaxis, extravasation injury, hemorrhage, sepsis, and spinal cord compression.
• Care and management of ports, central line/implanted line care, and IV therapy/infusions.
• Administration of blood and blood products.
• Symptom management including altered mental status, constipation/diarrhea, dysphagia, edema, nausea/vomiting, and neuropathy.
• Neutropenic precautions and chest tube care and management.

• 5 years of experience in oncology nursing is highly preferred; candidates with 3-4 years will be considered.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Experience with charting systems is required; any charting system experience is acceptable.
• BLS certification is required;
  Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) is preferred.
