Description
The Lead Research Coordinator will function under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, coordinating and maintaining diverse activities related to clinical research studies. This includes but is not limited to clinical trial portfolio management, pre-study communication coordination, new staff training, patient screening, confirming eligibility, registration, quality control of data compilation and submission, study evaluation, as well as direct patient care. Interacts closely with institutional investigators and industry sponsors.
Collaborates with the Research Committee throughout study through completion for treatment and complex trials. Must uphold the standards of confidentiality, attendance and punctuality. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Scientific or Health Services discipline
- 3 years of Clinical research experience in a healthcare with 1 year (in house) experience in Oncology clincial trials.
- 3 years of Microsoft Office experience.
- 1 year of experience with medical terminology.
- 1 year of experience in electronic data capture systems and electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- ACRP/SOCRA certification or other clinical research certification upon hire

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
