Job Summary

Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This full‑time position works 10‑hour variable shifts.

• Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician.
• Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out their duties to contribute to an effective and efficient Nuclear Medicine department.
• Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees, demonstrating teamwork to ensure excellent patient care and esprit de corps.

• Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience.
• Participation in ongoing continuing education.
• Upon hire, National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist‑Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist‑Nuclear Medicine Technology;
  California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification;
  National Provider BLS from American Heart Association.
• One year experience as a technologist in a hospital setting or imaging center.

• Two years experience as a technologist in a hospital setting or imaging center.

Pay range: $52.84 – $83.43 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, including shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
