Fraser Health invites you to join an innovative and unique primary health care team in a rapidly growing and dynamic city centre Mission. We are currently recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive, integrated, and trauma‑informed care at our Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) located in Mission, B.C.

UPCC’s are dedicated to delivering timely, person‑centred, culturally safe, trauma‑informed longitudinal and urgent primary care. Our model of care offers holistic team‑based care by supporting physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, clinical counsellors, allied health professionals and administrative support. Together, this team will extend continuous care that will be intentional and coordinated to all members of the community, including the vulnerable and medically complex.

Supporting the vision, values, purpose and commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centred around patients/clients/residents and families.

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible and accountable for the comprehensive assessment of patients/clients/residents including diagnosing diseases, disorders, and conditions. The Nurse Practitioner initiates treatment including health care management, therapeutic interventions and prescribes medications in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions, and employer policies and procedures.
