An assisted living community located in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) located in Mishawaka, IN. The LPN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care. Additional duties include documenting patient progress, communicating updates to families, and adhering to all healthcare regulations and protocols.
Qualifications- Proficiency in administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing bedside care
- Familiarity with patient charting, documentation, and healthcare compliance standards
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in clinical practices
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Indiana
- BLS/CPR certification is required
- Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Compassionate approach and ability to provide emotional support to patients and families
