The Residential Nurse (LPN) will assess clients, work with unit staff, and administer prescriptions. We have full‑time, part‑time and PRN positions.
Primary Duties- Assist in coordinating residential youth care.
- Complete initial assessments.
- Will administer medications, precautions monitoring, and pain reassessments.
- Complete all required clinical documentation.
- Is sensitive to the interrelationships of both people and functions within the department.
- Will follow Meaningful Use measures.
- May also be required to provide injections, test blood glucose and/or draw blood for lab tests.
- Interacts directly with clients and families.
- Interacts frequently with physicians, and other center employees involved in the case.
- Will work interdependently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to clients.
- Current Indiana LPN license
- Two years of post‑degree psychiatric experience in a similar position preferred
