What You Will Do- Manages therapy scheduling and registration, including gathering patient information, selecting appropriate clinicians, verifying insurance, and collecting copays.
- Handles reception duties such as greeting patients, managing calls, scheduling/rescheduling, directing visitors, and performing general office/secretarial tasks.
- Completes case‑management functions including obtaining authorizations, managing medical/legal information requests, processing evaluations, and supporting quality improvement activities.
- Supports departmental operations by coordinating meetings, referrals, and communications; using office software effectively; assisting new staff; and performing additional assigned duties.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Prior administrative or office coordination experience
- Five years' experience in an outpatient or hospital setting is preferred. Experience working with interdisciplinary team with an emphasis on rehabilitation services.
- Case management skills and/or certification in case management preferred.
- Proficient in computer and word processing skills. Knowledge in practice billing, coding and reimbursement criteria for Rehabilitation Services.
