Primary duties as a program coordinator:
- Supervise and coordinate daily assignments and procedures for unit staff
- Development of new hires and program development for the child/adolescent direct care teams
- Interact directly with youth and families. The frequency varies with needs, availability of residents, and acuity level
- Interact frequently with therapists, physicians, and other employees involved in the case
- Regular interaction with community resources, providers; coordinate services and referral sources such as DCS, court, probation, schools, and health care providers
- Bachelor s degree in social / human services related field preferred; OR
- Associates degree with two years of experience working in a child caring institution; OR
- HS diploma or equivalent with four years of experience working in a child caring institution, and two years of experience in a leadership capacity required.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid driver s license
