The position is Part‑time with a 12‑hour night shift

• Performing basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, such as taking blood glucose measurements, recording intake and output, assisting with bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Executing ordered EKGs according to policy and documented training and competency assessment.
• Performing phlebotomy duties per policy and training.
• Assisting with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Attending required in‑services, workshops, retreats, and staff meetings.
• Participating in and fostering a performance‑improvement approach that includes intra‑ and inter‑departmental activities.
• Performing other duties as directed consistent with the purpose of the job.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with ability to read, write, spell English, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Successful completion of EKG and phlebotomy course upon hire or transfer.
• Completion of initial clinical competency requirements for independent performance.
• CPR certification on hire or obtainable within 60 days.
• Previous patient‑care experience and/or technical education in a health‑related field preferred.
