Controller, Finance & Banking, CFO

Our client is a growing company that is looking for a Controller to join their team. This person will report to the CFO and run the accounting functions for the business. Excellent opportunity for someone that likes to add value and see their direct impact on a company.

• Oversees and manages all aspects of the internal day-to-day operations of the Accounting department.
• Assists in planning, developing, implementing, directing, and evaluating the financial function and performance.
• Collaborates with the Engineering, Production and Supply Chain departments to ensure accurate costing of the company’s products.
• Advise management teams on business operations and suggest changes to improve financial outlook and processes.
• Manages the audit of our annual financial statements with our external audit firm.
• Develops a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
• Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures of the organization.
• Provides technical financial advice to other functional areas within the business.
• Manages and develops growing accounting department staff.

• The Controller will have 6+ years’ relevant experience.
• Manufacturing and inventory/Cost Accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial statements and internal controls.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization.
