Operations Manager
Holaday-Parks is seeking an experienced Building Automation Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of building automation and controls projects across Northern Indiana. This role is responsible for managing all phases of BAS projects—from kickoff through closeout—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, excellent coordination and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including customers, field teams, subcontractors, and internal departments.
Essential Functions:- Responsible for all aspects related to successful installation, startup, testing and completion of assigned Service and/or Construction BMS projects
- Interface with customers, upper and lower tier contractors and Cx agents as necessary for successful project completion, attend and participate in project OAC, Cx and other project meetings
- Participate in Sales to Operations turnover meetings
- Order and manage required project materials to ensure on time project completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, communicating regularly with Operations Manager to ensure adequate manpower for successful project completion and project issues and challenged are mitigated effectively
- Review project specs, submittals and drawings for accurarcy, working with Application Engineer, Operations Manager and Account Executive(s) to identify scope gaps and potential change orders
- Manage all project related documentation, including Submittals, SSSP, RFI logs, O&M’s, As-Builts and project closeout documentation, responsible for any required project training
- Review subcontractor and material vendor invoices for accuracy related to project completion and deliverables.
- Create and submit project Schedule of Values (SOV) as required
- Manage multiple projects, of varying complexity, scale and scope
- Project budget vs cost awareness & status, providing input on project estimates to complete (ETC)
- Create and submit change order budgets, including soliciting subcontractors and material vendors for bids/quotes
- As project demands dictate, field support may be necessary
- Demonstrate reliable, successful performance of job responsibilities
Education:
- MCA PM Course, preferred
- AutoCAD experience, preferred
