About Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-owned healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience and a strong ethical and legal track record. Our mission is to work with facilities to increase access to healthcare for the geriatric population by bringing care directly to them. We provide on-site portable dentistry, podiatry, audiology and optometry at Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities and Veteran Homes across 20+ states, and we support scheduling and billing so providers can focus on patient care.
Position Summary: A compassionate and experienced Dentist (Part-Time) is needed to provide care to the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care for seniors, emphasizing comfort, respect, and proper oral health.
The opportunity is well suited for a dentist looking to supplement their schedule and income while making a positive impact. All administrative responsibilities including equipment, supplies, billing, scheduling, and more are covered, as this is an independent contractor relationship where CMC provides administrative services for you.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive dental care to elderly patients, including routine exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, dentures, and other procedures as required.
- Conduct oral health assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer recommendations tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
- Educate patients on maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing dental issues specific to aging populations.
- Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Ensure a comfortable and safe environment for elderly patients, adapting to any physical or cognitive limitations.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
- Current state dental license and other required certifications.
- Experience in geriatric dentistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with elderly patients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 1-4 Days per week
- Weekday availability
- 8 hour day, typically from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
