Supply Chain Coordinator

An experienced Supply Chain Coordinator is required by our client a Fresh Produce Distributor based in Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled and stock used in the most efficient way and to provide support to the commercial team regarding the various stages of the Supply Chain. Participating in continual improvement projects that will help drive success in their commercial and operational functions.

This role may have a combination of the accountabilities or may focus on one area of the Supply Chain. Supply Chain is their Air Traffic Control Tower, where you will be the crucial link between the commercial and operational teams, making and adjusting plans to match their stock production plans and customer demand. Liaising with sales, procurement, technical and operations, this is a great opportunity to see all aspects of the cut and thrust of their day to day business.

• Strong organisational skills, time management, self-motivation and organisation are also essential qualities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to analyse data is required.

• Experience of working in the fresh produce industry
• Fluent in a second language is advantageous but not essential
