JOB TITLE: SALES AGRONOMIST - WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA

New, State-of-the-Art Agronomy facility will be under construction this Summer and is scheduled to be operational Spring 2025. This area of North Dakota is beautiful with rolling hills, lakes, state parks, and numerous outdoor activities, including hunting, excellent fishing, hiking, golfing, and much more. Community has a very good school system, K through 12, and community offers a health clinic and hospital, as well.

A Well-Established Agronomy Retailer/Services Provider is seeking an experienced Sales Agronomist for their operation located in Western North Dakota. Primary responsibility will be to sell Agronomy products such as Seed, Ag Chemicals, Fertilizers, and Soil Sampling Services to area Ag Growers. Additionally, you will be making informed crop inputs recommendations to Ag Growers and will interact with the general public on a routine basis to promote new products through Agronomy events planned by organization.

This Sales Agronomist will report directly to the Agronomy Manager for the location.

- 2- or 4-year Agronomy or other Agronomy-related degree
- Solid knowledge of Agronomy as well as knowledge of crops raised in Western North Dakota
- Knowledge and understanding of crop inputs used on/with Western North Dakota crops
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills...MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR SELLING CROP INPUTS AND BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH AG GROWERS- 3 or more years of creating and making recommendations to Ag Growers on specialized programs utilizing Ag chemicals, fertilizers, and seed
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and solution-finding skills
- Desire to become embedded and involved in local community
- Ability to work extended hours during busy Agronomy season


* Must be eligible to work in the US as well as meet the qualifications listed above in order to be considered for this Sales Agronomist role.
