As a full-time Assistant Store Manager

• Inspire the Customer Connection: Inspire associates with integrity and drive, fostering a culture of caring and camaraderie focused on customer relationships, operational excellence, and flawless delivery of both. Infuse coaching moments for the selling behaviors behind our Customer Connection.
• Champion Talent Discovery: Be enthusiastic and proactive about seeking out and networking with exceptional external talent. Collaborate with the Store Manager to interview and hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences driven by attentiveness to service and determination to sell.
• Ace Retail Operations & Support Staffing Levels: Know retail operational fundamentals and keep the store running with strong daily operations. From pricing to shipping processing and inventory, keep operations dialed in and leverage store standards as the framework of success to keep our famous styles easily shoppable. Support staffing levels set by the Store Manager based on availability, peak days, and seasonal needs.
• Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: Take accountability for goals and impact on location performance. Drive sales with purpose to achieve goals and, with the Store Manager, apply insights to continually improve results. Every shoe sale counts.
• Be a Culture Builder: Support a work and team environment where diversity and inclusivity are valued as a strength, ensuring each associate feels included and respected. Maintain a positive and proactive mindset and lead by example to uplift and support others. Use engagement to increase retention and performance.
• Be our Store Manager’s Right Hand: When the Store Manager is away, step into their role, further developing people leadership and store management skills. Ensure compliance with company programs through training and follow-up. Assess team strengths and opportunities to develop internal talent in partnership with the Store Manager.

Essential Functions: Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to meet business needs.
