Overview
Part‑time Sales Teammate role at The Buckle, Inc. Job focus: create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for guests through sales, merchandising and operational tasks.
Responsibilities- Greet guests and provide legendary service in front area and sales floor.
- Perform cashiering, register procedures, merchandise display, and inventory management.
- Recommend products, answer questions, and suggest additional items based on guest needs.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies and security practices.
- Achieve personal sales‑per‑hour and total net sales goals set by store management.
- Support visual merchandise management: present and display products, size merchandise, and manage new freight.
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including bag checks and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Assist with operational duties such as opening/closing registers, balancing cash drawers, and daily deposits.
- Communicate guest or policy concerns to the Store Manager, District Manager, or Human Resources.
- Participate in recruiting, training, and development activities as assigned.
• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and a friendly, engaging attitude.
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentStand, walk, reach, climb, and occasionally sit. Work in a moderate‑noise retail store environment.
