Schedule Details

Day shifts only

8-hour shifts:  Monday–Friday (typically 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

10-hour shifts  may be considered (discussed during interview)

Must be available to work Fridays

No call required  (advanced notice will be provided if this changes)

Practice Setting

Hospital-based anesthesia services

EMR:  Cerner (some paper charting)

ORs:  8 operating rooms

Medically directed by an Anesthesiologist

Case Mix

General Surgery

Orthopedics

OB/GYN  (OB cases included; no epidurals for CRNAs)

ENT

Vascular

Healthy Pediatrics

GI (rare; may include independent cases if needed)

No:  Heads, Hearts, Pain
Regional Blocks:  No

Support Staff

Anesthesia Techs available for room prep, equipment, and supplies

No Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs)

Requirements

Recent clinical experience within the last 12 months

Case logs preferred (not required at presentation)

Certifications:

APRN, NBCRNA, ACLS, PALS, BLS

Board Certification:  Required

License:  Active state license required at presentation

APRN compact license considered

Must apply upon offer acceptance and provide proof

Travel & Logistics

Flights, lodging, and rental car approved

Credentialing timeframe:  45–60 days
