Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night‑shift nursing team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Minot, ND. The LPN will provide high‑quality, person-centered care to residents, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct nursing care to SNF residents under the supervision of an RN or clinical supervisor.
- Perform routine assessments, obtain vital signs, and monitor resident conditions throughout the night.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, trach care, and other skilled interventions as needed.
- Assist residents with ADLs such as mobility, toileting, hygiene, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
- Document nursing care accurately in the EHR system (Point Click Care or similar).
- Respond to call lights and overnight needs promptly and professionally.
- Identify and report changes in resident conditions to the RN or provider on call.
- Participate in rounding, ensure residents are safe and comfortable, and prepare them for morning routines.
- Adhere to SNF regulations, infection control guidelines, and state nursing standards.
- Coordinate with CNAs and support staff to ensure smooth night‑shift operations.
- Active LPN license in North Dakota or compact state.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
. - Minimum 6 months experience in SNF, LTC, or similar care setting (or facility preference).
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during night hours.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using SNF-based EHR systems such as Point Click Care .
- Prior experience in long‑term care, rehabilitation, or memory care units.l
- Strong understanding of resident rights, care plans, and regulatory compliance.
* Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
