Role OverviewThe Professional RN II Preadmission Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care of patients including those in the following age groups:
Infancy, childhood, adolescents, adult and geriatric. Participation in performance improvement, in-service, safety and cost management is ongoing. Responsible for pre-operative interviews and pre/post-operative teaching, screening, chart documentation and preparation.
