Kids Pursuit Director

Position Description

The Kids Pursuit Director at the Pursuit Church, Minot Campus, is the primary leader of our ministry environments encompassing birth through 5th grade. This full-time role provides the overall vision and leadership to create safe, engaging and age-appropriate environments for kids and families during weekend services and special events. The ideal candidate has a burning desire to equip families and kids to grow into devoted Jesus followers no matter their age.

• Provide overall leadership to the Kids Pursuit team, both staff and volunteers.
• Oversee the recruiting, onboarding, and training of volunteers who serve within Kids Pursuit.
• Lead and develop teams through volunteers leveraging their strengths within the ministry.
• Ensure effectiveness and alignment of curriculum across kid’s rooms and campuses to ensure kids can strive towards becoming a disciple of Jesus.
• Work towards connecting spiritual impact from our environments into families homes.
• Set and maintain safety standards with the Kids Pursuit team to ensure all kids and leaders are safe and protected.
• Work collaboratively across our ministries as a local church.

• Be available for “all staff” moments where we are “all in” as a church.
• Engage in ongoing leadership development.
• Attend required regular weekly/monthly meetings.
• Perform other duties assigned by Lead Team.

• Participation in the life of The Pursuit Church (groups, worship service, serving, & giving)

• Use Social Media responsibly.
