PART-TIME Water Treatment Plant Custodian

The City of Minot Water Treatment Plant is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment within our facility. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for individuals looking for consistent part-time hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Perform routine cleaning duties including mopping and vacuuming floors

* Clean and disinfect surfaces throughout the facility

* Maintain cleanliness of restrooms

* Empty trash and recycling receptacles

* Ensure building areas remain orderly and sanitary for employees and visitors

* Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment

Work Schedule

* Flexible hours

* Minimum of 5 days per week, up to 4 hours per day

* Up to 20 hours per week

Qualifications

* Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, but not required

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods

* Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail

Compensation and Benefits

* Starting hourly wage of $16.78/hour

* This is a part time, FLSA nonexempt, non-civil service position with no benefits provided.
