The Social Worker is responsible for the implementation of Social Services programs for the resident under the direction of the Director of Social Services. This includes advocating for the residents of Trinity Homes, being available for support, counseling (staff, residents, and resident's families) and information for staff, residents, and families, as well as the general community. This includes meeting state and federal regulations that long term care facilities follow, and upholding the ethical and moral standards set by the National Association of Social Workers, and the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners.
Providing assessments, goals, and approaches for helping the residents attain or maintain the highest practicable level of physical, emotional, and psycho-social functions. This includes effective communication, functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team, and a role model for staff.
- Licensed Social Worker in the State of ND (unrestricted licensed to work with all age groups and populations), or eligible for licensure in the State of ND
- BSW from an Accredited Program
- Preferred gerontology minor of coursework
