• Actively participate in the setup of all wardrobe equipment, dressing rooms and costumes pertaining to the wardrobe department and other equipment assigned to the department during the installation period in Medora, North Dakota
• Responsible for repairing and maintaining all costumes related to the Wardrobe Department as directed by supervisors
• Responsible for shows laundry needs
• Will attend rehearsals or put-ins as needed for new performers
• Assist in the choreography of quick changes as well as helping with changes during the runs of shows
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of show related paperwork, i.e. tracking sheets, dressing sheets, laundry check-in/out sheets, performer repair request sheets, as needed
• Weekly check-ins with Wardrobe manager
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

• Related experience, or combination of training and/or education in Wardrobe as it relates to live performances
• Basic understanding of theatrical terms and directions
• Ability to understand instructions in oral, written and diagram form to apply common sense to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Recognized as a proven team player with creative problem solving and strong troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge of sewing machines, their uses and different applications
• Ability to hand sew
• Understanding of fabrics and specific laundry and dry-cleaning needs of each specific fabric type

• Rate:
• $1,300 per week during rehearsal period
• $1,200 per week during operations period
• Housing and 3 meals are provided
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs, stand for 2 hours and operate small hand tools

Medora Musical is an outdoors family-oriented country show with a varying theme each year. The 61st edition commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States by honoring Medora’s history alongside the dreamers, builders, innovators, and protectors who shaped both the town and the nation.

Medora Musical: The Musical takes place in the Burning Hills Amphitheater with 6-7 shows a week and 1 dark day.

Gospel Brunch takes place in the Town Square Showhall and is performed 4 times a week by some of the same cast members. Scope and responsibilities include weekly laundry and prep, and setup/closing of production as needed.
