Security Officer - Access Control

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Manage access control at entrances, gates, and/or docks by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries to the appropriate staging areas;
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic including employees, visitors, and drivers, verifying appointments and/or shipping paperwork as required;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying appropriate personnel per site policy;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for irregular activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations that may help to deter unauthorized access;
Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
