** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Control access at employee, visitor, and vehicle entry points by checking identification, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing badges when directed, and/or directing arrivals to the proper staging or check-in areas.

+ Monitor inbound and outbound traffic such as trucks, trailers, and deliveries by confirming appointments, verifying documentation when provided, and reporting irregular activity per site policy to help to deter unauthorized access.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter, watching for hazards, unsecured doors or gates, and policy violations, and reporting findings through required reports and/or systems.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
