Senior Community Services HOME Program has a need for a Handyperson to help Seniors in Minnetonka, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, St Louis Park.
POSITION:
Part Time (typically 5-20 hours weekly) / Make your own schedule / Paid Mileage/Drive Time!
LOCATION:
various assigned homes in Hennepin County.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide minor home repairs to older adults. Workers are required to provide their own tools (basic) and transportation.
Examples of our scope of projects: replacement of toilets, outlets, light fixtures, faucets, small interior/exterior maintenance projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
An interest in working with older adults and the mission of helping people remain in their homes and communities.
Diagnose repair needs and discuss options with clients
Maintenance tasks include, but are not limited to carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, and minor electrical repairs..
Physically able to perform work described
Provide your own tools and transportation
Must be 18 or older to apply
Pass a background check
Able to accurately maintain time records
Ability to speak and interact with senior clients respectfully.
