Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area
• Assist with Target Loyalty programs and help with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet; direct guests to enroll and use services like Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering
• Assist with returns following store policies; escalate to leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup and drive-up while complying with applicable laws
• Other duties as needed by business

• You thrive in a fast-moving, active role requiring teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving
• You are open to flexible schedules (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times)
• Effective communication with positive language and attentiveness to guests’ needs
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members; attention to detail
• Ability to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to use multiple devices, operate handheld scanners, and other technology as directed
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; stay focused in a fast-paced environment

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally (with or without assistance)
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance required
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions (e.g., during Drive-Up, carryout, etc.)
