The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency. This team leads food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and organizing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and adjust salesfloor merchandise displays and keep organized backroom space.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Operate in compliance with all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as applicable.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Greet guests and engage with them to assist with their needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You thrive in a fast-moving, active role where teamwork, flexibility and problem solving are key.
• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times).

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience is preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks on time.

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to lift up to 44 pounds and to climb ladders; operate in varying temperatures and environments.
• Ability to work in spaces with potential allergens and in conditions ranging from cool to cold (34°F to
  -10°F as needed).
