All about Target and the General Merchandise team. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas of the store. This role helps ensure product is set, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor, supporting a fresh and safe guest experience.

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary when unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive Up while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology equipment as directed.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within time frames.

• Ability to handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders; lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds; operate in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
