Job Description - Business Intelligence Analyst - Developer (180002ZW)
The BI Analyst
- Developer is responsible for a Fortune 50 global technology client’s travel reporting program developing BI reporting, building data models and tools, and ensuring continuous access to recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards for the analyst team to turn into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. This role resides within the global consulting organization, partnering with operations teams and the client to support the delivery of insights and recommendations to optimize travel costs and manage global corporate travel programs.

QualificationsPosition Requirements
- Experience writing complex reports using modern BI tools, particularly IBM Cognos.
- Experience working with enterprise databases or data lakes, including writing SQL queries in Oracle, Hive, Impala or other similar environment.
- Experience writing VBA code to develop models and improve efficiencies.
- Advanced technical skills covering all Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication skills. Ability to create and explain complex technology solutions to non-technical users.
- Ability to analyze and report on data, look for trends, make and implement recommendations.
- Drive to deliver timely resolution to issues through diagnostics, testing, action plans, recommendations, and implementation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively without close supervision.
- Sound judgment, advanced problem solving and decision making capabilities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Travel industry experience highly preferred.
