SAS Visual Statistics Consultant

Responsibilities: Seeking a full-time VISUAL STATISTICS CONSULTANT to work with our customer, a large-sized health insurance company in the Minnetonka, MN area. The consultant will assist SAS and its customer in developing analytical models to identify behavioral trends within the insured membership base, predicting events such as hospital readmission rates and response to health regimens.

The consultant will use SAS Visual Statistics and SAS Visual Analytics among other software solutions to develop models and reports. Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively communicate methods and results to both executives and analysts.

• Experience with linear and logistic regression.
• Experience with SAS Visual Statistics.
• At least 1 year of experience using SAS Visual Analytics 6.4 or higher in a distributed environment, including loading data into LASR Analytic Server and using Visual Data Builder, VA Explorer, and VA Designer.
• Linux/UNIX experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with SAS 9 EBI, Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS/GRAPH.
• Experience in the Health Insurance Industry.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
