As a Caregiver
, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Position Type: Part-Time
Available Shifts (including every other weekend): Days – 7:00am to 3:00pm. Evening – 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.38 / hour depending on experience.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Aide in programming and activities with residents.
• Monitor the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
• Prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)).
• Experience with medication passing is preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate on medication administration.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.

Memory Care at Emerald Crest of Minnetonka is thoughtfully designed to promote independence and familiarity for our residents. This communal home setting provides a natural, home-like setting to encourage engagement and reduces isolation among residents. Each home consists of 12-15 suites arranged around a warm, friendly, central living and kitchen area. We develop individualized daily programs that flow with our residents' natural rhythms.
