Akkodis is seeking an Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minnetonka, MN. This role supports a new product launch by leading frontline manufacturing engineering efforts in a clean environment.
NOTE:
Monday to Thursday - 4:45am to 3:15pm
Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing engineering support on the production floor and in clean‑room operations.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues while guiding assemblers and technicians through safe and compliant operations.
- Analyze test data and product performance to drive yield improvements and support new product introduction activities.
- Recommend and implement process, tooling, and equipment changes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Perform scrap dissections and lead root‑cause investigations to resolve production challenges.
- Communicate findings, updates, and process changes across shifts and cross‑functional teams, including reporting to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role or equivalent technical background.
- Strong troubleshooting and process‑improvement skills, with the ability to analyze data and lead root‑cause investigations.
- Experience supporting clean‑room operations, new product introduction, and manufacturing process development, including tooling and equipment optimization.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
