Assignment: Monday to Friday, 10am-5:30pm

Wages and Benefits: Starting at $21.94 per hour. Rates can be found in Appendix

B. Medical and dental benefit eligible. Benefit details available.

• Provides support in by working one-on-one with a student identified as having difficulty participating in daily activities.
• Assist student with necessary supervision during transitions, large and small group activities, and unstructured play.
• Model appropriate intervention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff in the team to ensure the safety and success of all children.

• Experience working with children with special needs or behavior challenges.
• Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students.
• Demonstrated ability to take direction and work as a team member.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
• Evidence of friendly, outgoing personality.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.
• Experience supporting student instruction in the classroom preferred.

Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
