- Teach MCE tennis curriculum and assist in developing goals for all levels.
- Instruct classes, supervise participants, and manage class environment.
- Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with class goals.
- Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.
- Establish a positive and friendly relationship with parents.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Teach private lessons when available.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Evidence of extensive knowledge of and experience playing tennis.
- Prior experience in tennis instruction preferred.
- Evidence of successful teaching and/or program leadership.
- First Aid & CPR certified – certification training available once hired.
- Passion for working with children.
- Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.
Assignment: 16-20 Hours. Monday-Thursday (Friday if make-up date needed). June 15 - August 28. Minnetonka Middle School East and/or Minnetonka Middle School West.
Wages: starting at $22. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
Primary Objective of PositionsProvide instruction in several levels of tennis, from beginner to advanced, for children ages 3-14, as well as a youth league. Ensure a safe and fun experience for all participants.
