Child Minding / Nanny, Summer Seasonal
Overview
Job Title:
Summer Nanny for 13 and 11 year olds
Family
Location:
Minnetonka
Summary:
We are a family of 5 (and a small hypoallergenic dog) looking for a summer nanny for our 13 and 11-year-old girls. We are a self-described silly family, who love to crack jokes, have fun together, and not take ourselves too seriously. In the winter months, you can often find us out skiing, and in the summer we love to spend as much time at our family cabin as we can.
We are also a family of musicians, each playing a different instrument, and we often jam together. We are looking for a fun and active summer nanny to join us this year.
You are patient, engaging, and enjoy keeping the girls busy and off their devices. You are crafty and can come up with activities using our craft supplies. You are creative and can think of ideas that both girls would enjoy. You should be comfortable in the water as the girls love to go to the beach. You are patient, sweet, and able to connect with each girl at her level.
ResponsibilitiesJob Duties:
While it is still being finalized, the typical day includes waking the girls, helping with breakfast, and then coordinating camp drop-offs, pick-ups, or activities of their choice. Lunch follows, then a camp or other activity in the afternoon, or free time to plan something fun. Driving is required and mileage will be reimbursed. The girls have food allergies; familiarity with an epi pen is helpful, and they will teach you how to use one if needed.
