Hiring Now! Traffic Specialist
Minimum Requirements- Associates degree
- 2 plus years of experience in transportation and logistics, including road, water, and air freight
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Reliable and consistent attendance record
- Previous experience using Microsoft AX
- Coordinate and expedite the movement of outgoing freight to ensure on‑time delivery to customers
- Manage the quoting process by determining shipping costs, rates, and most cost‑efficient shipment methods
- Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments for internal and external customers
- Act as a liaison between customers, freight carriers, sales reps, and the shipping department
- Track, investigate, and resolve freight issues including delays, detention, and delivery discrepancies
- Maintain accurate shipping records including destination, weight, and freight charges
- Create bills of lading and perform shipment‑related data entry
- Assist with tracking and expediting domestic and international shipments, including overseas freight
- Control transportation costs through load consolidation and carrier selection
- Provide backup support to the client services team as needed
- Onsite in Delano, MN
- Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Pay $25‑$34/hour, depending on experience
- Contract starting on March 1st through August/September
