Position Description
Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL Yard Driver at Ryder in Gaylord, MN. Text "Gaylord" to Shaunna at  or call for more information. Information includes pay details and schedule options.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading as required by the customer
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

• Route:
  Local Home Daily – Yard
• No freight – No touch – Yard work
• Endorsement:
  Tanker Endorsement within 30–60 days of hire
• Hours per week: 36–48 (depending on schedule);
  Start Time: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Pay:
  Weekly;
  Hourly pay: $29.00 for PM shift;
  Potential weekly earnings $1,100–$1,500 depending on schedule
• Benefits and bonuses: $3,000 loyalty bonus ($1,500 at 6 months and $1,500 at 1 year)

• Trucks are 36 months or newer with 24/7 roadside maintenance; company drivers fuel the trucks at 800+ maintenance facilities nationwide
• Uniforms, cell phone and boot allowance provided

• Paid personal time policy respects unused time and may payout remaining balance
