Front End Developer, Digital Channels

You will join our team that develops and maintains Veikkaus' digital channels – the biggest online consumer store in Finland. As a Front End Developer you will work in agile teams to create modern web services that provide safe, responsible, and innovative gaming experiences.

• Develop and maintain high‑quality web services using Type Script, React, Astro, and other modern front end technologies.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, product owners, data scientists, and game experts to deliver features that improve the user experience.
• Learn and experiment with analytics, continuous A/B testing, and machine learning while deploying changes to production daily.
• Act as a proactive advocate for best practices, code quality, and process improvement.

• Type Script, React, Astro, Zustand, Tanstack Query, i18next
• AWS, Node.js, Git Lab, pnpm, vitest, Cypress, Playwright
• Docker, Grafana, Playwright, Docker

• Some experience in developing web services and a hunger to learn more.

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois‑Haaga, Helsinki. We work flexibly in a hybrid model and meet at the office three times a week.
