Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Technician located in Le Center, MN. The Field Technician will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair propulsion engines, energy systems, and related equipment. Additional responsibilities include emergency field service support, diagnosing system malfunctions, and ensuring a high standard of operational performance. The technician will interact with clients to provide technical support, document service activities, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

This position requires travel to client sites, including occasional extended stays.

Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical skills, including troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and mechanical repair expertise.
  • Familiarity with diagnostics tools and systems, as well as experience with both diesel and gas engines. Hybrid systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Capability in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and technical support personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in on-site environments with a focus on safety and quality.
  • Preferred qualifications include previous field service experience, experience in the power systems industry, and training in renewable energy technologies.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certifications in relevant technical fields or vocational training are strongly preferred.
