Hydro Engineering’s Irrigation Division in Rockville is seeking a motivated individual to join as a Center Pivot Technician. This role offers an outdoor career opportunity in the growing Irrigation/Ag Market, with potential for advancement to lead the irrigation division. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of irrigation equipment, mechanical aptitude for electrical repair, a valid driver’s license (preferably CDL), and willingness to travel occasionally overnight.

• Technical/Trade School education or experience with center pivot irrigation equipment
• Broad knowledge of irrigation equipment
• Strong electrical repair and maintenance skills
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to diagnose, service, and repair pipelines and well pumps
• Report and documentation skills
• Responsibility for time management and material usage
• Positive interaction with customers and team members
• Punctuality and productivity
• Vehicle, tools, and equipment maintenance
• Welding experience is a plus
• Adherence to safety regulations
• Willingness to perform additional duties as needed

• Frequent bending and stooping
• Lifting up to 75 lbs repeatedly
• Extended standing periods
• Outdoor work environment
• Occasional ladder work
• Operation of forklifts, skid loaders, dozers, excavators, and trenchers
• Occasional work in confined spaces
• Overnight travel required
