Journeyman Lineman

Crow Wing Power has a position open for a Journeyman Lineman in our Swanburg location. The Journeyman will provide efficient service in the performance of all skills and labor required in construction and maintenance of Cooperative lines and structures both overhead and underground. This position will perform all tasks, carry an equitable share of the workload, including less skilled work when necessary to assure the most reliable service to the Cooperative’s members.

Journeymen will be a role model to others in safety, training, communication, and positive attitude.

• Must have successfully completed a recognized 4-year Apprenticeship Lineman Program
• Must have a current Journeyman Certification.
• Must have a current Minnesota CDL driver’s license.
• Required to be on Standby Duty and work Overtime as required:
  • Expected to work overtime during storms and emergencies as needed.
  • Expected to work overtime to complete planned construction as directed.
  • Expected to be a team player so employees are not burdened with excessive OT hours.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate computer proficiency with willingness to continue learning.
